The Bereavement ministry is for someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. It is a six-week series of meetings that last 1 1/2 hours, during which participants meet and discuss readings from various authors, as well as scripture passages that address grief and loss.  Each week a different topic is discussed.  The groups meet twice a year, or as needed.

This ministry provides an opportunity to meet with others to share stories, memories, and to learn how to cope with the loss of a loved one. The topics discussed include: coping with loss and change, hope and reaching out, identifying strengths and resources and redefining expectations for life after the death of a loved one.
